Welcome to the Interviews page, to read interviews I have had recently go to the bottom of the page and click on the link. I will be interviewing an author or editor every month, so look out for announcements of who will be featured here. This month I interviewed talented author Trixie Stilletto.
Kyla: Welcome, Trixie. Thank you for agreeing to be interviewed by me. =) Can you tell us about your latest release?
Trixie: In Hero Adrift, Petty Officer Oliver Robinson is wounded and burned-out and ready to step away from his successful career in the United States Coast Guard but what's a man to do when a woman demands his services?
Abby Smithton wants a hero but how can she prove to the man of her dreams that heroism is a two-way street?
Hero Adrift is a story about hero who needs a heroine to help him find his true courage and heart.
Kyla: Would you like to tell us what you are working on just now? When will we have another book to read?
Trixie: I'm putting the final touches on Planes, Trains & Betsy, Book IV in my Scarecrow & Betsy McGee series that will be a January/February 2006 release. I'm also starting the plotting on Hot Tamale, Book V in the series which will be an April/May release 2006.
Kyla: You write mainly in the Contemporary genre. Would you like to try any other genre?
Trixie: Yes. As a matter of fact, I have the germ of an idea for a time-travel erotic romance that needs to simmer a little more before I write it but there's no question I feel most comfortable writing contemporary settings.
Kyla: You also write under another name, can you tell us about your writing as Karen?
Trixie: Yes, I write regular romances as Karen Troxel and have five books published. They are: Wind of Change, a time-travel; Web Story, a romantic comedy; An Affair To Remember, a romantic suspense; Just One Night, a contemporary romance; Tempest, a romantic suspense/mystery.
Kyla: Tell us who your favourite authors are, do you have any recommendations about books we just have to read?
Trixie: That's a tough one. I love a lot of different authors but sadly haven't had a lot of time lately for pleasure reading. When I do make the time, my auto buys are Catherine Snodgrass (Caitlyn Willows), Paris Dixon and Nora Roberts.
Kyla: Please tell us where we can purchase your fabulous books and where we can find out all about your latest news.
Trixie: Please visit my publishers: Amber Quill Press www.amberquill.com and Phaze www.phaze.com for my Trixie works and Wings ePress www.wingsepress.com and Amber Quill Press for my Karen titles.
