I will be interviewing an author or editor here every month, this month I interviewed owner of The Romance Galleria, Dawn Seewer.

Kyla: Welcome, Dawn. Thank you for agreeing to be interviewed by me. =) Can you tell us about your wonderful on line community for authors and readers alike?

Dawn: The Romance Galleria is a virtual forum that functions as an interactive, 3D chat "world", a theatre, an online convention and more! And best of all, there's no software to buy or subscription fees. Our download it 100% secure and 100% free!

Kyla: How did you come up with this marvellous interactive idea?

Dawn: The idea was actually conceived almost a year ago during a visit with my dad, who is the developer of the Expo3D program, which runs the Galleria. It just so happened to be the week of the big Romantic Times convention. We got to talking about how I would have liked to go but just couldn't justify spending the money or time for such a quick event. He had just launched his first electronic convention in 3D through Expo3D and while we were visiting his 3D world I uttered the words, "RT needs to do this so everyone can attend their event." That was the beginning of the Galleria.

Kyla: There are weekly events in place at The Romance Galleria; would you like to tell us about the Mocha Monday's and Friday Film's?

Dawn: Sure! Mocha Monday's are our hour long author chat hosted by our chat maven Denise Fleischer. Its one part interview, one part chat and most of all a blast for readers! These hour-long chats are held every Monday night in the Galleria Café at 9pm (est). The Friday Film night showcases some of the best romantic trailers and chat with the author about the book. These special showings happen every Friday night in the Galleria Theatre at 9pm (est). In May we're also launching two new weekly events, Wild Wednesdays and Network Night. Every Wednesday author Danielle Devon will be hosting an hour long chat event with some of the hottest authors of sensual romance. Thursday night is writer night at the Galleria with hour-long industry chats hosted by myself and the Galleria Marketing Director Sara Reinke along with special guests such as publishers, designers, agents and public relations representatives.

Kyla: What kind of promotional opportunities are there in place for authors and publishers alike?

Dawn: We've just recently expanded our exhibit hall to accommodate our growing list of authors! Our services range from small Author Alcoves for as little as $10 a month to full fledge Suites with full chat capabilities for as little as $50 a month. In addition we also offer advertising throughout the Galleria. We also have a host a free promotional opportunities at the Galleria via our weekly chat events as well as our Galleria Library.

Kyla: And I can tell you all that I am VERY happy with my own Author Alcove. I love how you have designed them, Dawn!

Now you are also the owner of Dagian Designs, would you like to tell us about the services you offer authors please?

Dawn: For the past eight years I've been creating websites, promotional materials and cover art for a variety of authors and publishers.
