Welcome to the Interviews page, to read interviews I have had recently go to the bottom of the page and click on the link. I will be interviewing an author or editor every month, so look out for announcements of who will be featured here. This month I interviewed talented author Angela Knight.

Kyla: Welcome, Angela. Thank you for agreeing to be interviewed by me. =) Can you tell us about your latest release?

Angela: Well, Mercenaries is a futuristic anthology about the crew of an interstellar mercenary vessel. First up is Trinity Yeager, who approaches Captain Nathan August asking him for transport off the planet of religious nuts she's been stranded on. Nathan isn't sure she's serious, so he makes her a deal: if she can take on both him and his first officer as their sex toy, he'll give her a job. Next is the first officer, Sebastian Cole, who goes undercover as a sex slave and meets a deliciously sexy "mistress" who is more submissive than dominant. Last is Cassidy Vika, who ends up in a sexy duel with a big, delicious alpha warrior. Lots of steamy sexy is had by all!

Kyla: Would you like to tell us what you are working on just now? When will we have another book to read?

Angela: II've just finished Master of Wolves for Berkley, and I'm working on Master of Swords. Master of Wolves is about Jim London, a werewolf who goes undercover as a police dog to investigate the murder of his best friend. He ends up falling for his sexy police handler, Faith Weston. MOS deals with the adventures of Gawain and his best friend, Kel, a dragon who was turned into a sword. Witch Lark McClure finds herself teamed up with the two in a race against a vicious vampire and the dragon who imprisoned Kel.

Kyla: You have written in a number of sub-genres, from Paranormal to Futuristic to Fantasy. What is your favourite to write in and why?

Angela: Well, I actually like all of them. But I guess Paranormal is my favourite.

Kyla: As well as being an amazing author, you are also a talented cover artist. Can you tell us how you became involved in this?

Angela: I've been interested in drawing since I was six or so, but I chose to concentrate on writing. Then I discovered a computer program called Poser that lets me create computer generated art. I got pretty decent at it, so I used it to create my website at www.angelasknights.com. And the covers grew from there.

Kyla: Tell us who your favourite authors are, do you have any recommendations about books we just have to read?

Angela: Long list! Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake is a must read, and so is Nora Roberts/JD Robb's IN DEATH series. I also love Lois McMaster Bujold's Miles Vorkisigan series, Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series, and Wen Spencer's Alien Taste. And if you love erotic romance, you really need to read Diane Whiteside's The Switch, which is deliciously steamy fun!
