Isy was kind enough to agree to be interviewed for my website launch, please read her interview, below.

Kyla: Welcome, Isy. Thank you for being my first victim, oops I mean author to be interviewed. =) You have just written a fantastic horror story for Changeling Press; care to tell us about it and what you plan for the series?

Isy: Kyla, thanks for inviting me! It is an honor to be featured here - and first no less - on your new web site. =)

Thanks for asking about Legion: University. It's the story of a young woman who is finally getting the opportunity to go to college, has a job in the lab of a talented professor and has a huge crush on a postdoc she works with in that lab. But things at Woods University aren't what they seem. Slowly the student body, her roommate included, are becoming emotionless, blazer-wearing super geeks. And if that isn't enough, Joey stumbles upon a scary ritual being conducted in the very building where she works. All hell breaks loose at that point and Joey is forced to fight for her life against a secret society preying on the students of Woods University.

I'm working on the second story in the series now but have two other stories planned out. The last two will be futuristic. The evil society of the Legion series plans to take over the world… LOL

Kyla: Tell us what drew you to write erotic romance. You haven't been writing in this genre for long, did you expect your career to take off in the way it has?

Isy: Aside from the fact that I really enjoy reading erotic romance, I love the freedom that the genre offers. I don't feel limited to writing just contemporary stories or historical stories with set rules. I can write anything set in any time, the future as well as the past. My hero could be a duke in England or a shape-shifting leopard man. LOL I LOVE the freedom!

And this has been quite a year for me, yes! LOL I'm so happy and humbled to have had so many readers take a chance on a new writer. Thank all of you! This has all exceeded my wildest expectations. =)

Kyla: What you are working on now Isy? When will we have another book to read?

Isy: At the moment I'm working on a pirate story - I love pirates! - for Amber Quill Press. The Legend of Black Robert Flynn will be out in April I think and I'm having a blast writing it! Of course, I recently had some inspiration. I had a visit from Captain Jack Sparrow at my day job! (You can see the picture at my web site http://isabellajordan.com/fun.php).

This month I have two new releases. My first vampire romance, Waiting For You, will be released in mid to late January by Amber Quill Press. Eyes of the Leopard 2: Vengeance will be out on January 14th from Changeling Press. I've had SO many readers email me to ask when that one was coming. It is the story of Mikhail - the villain from Discovery. Next I'll be working on the third story - Ilia's. =)

Kyla: You have written in a number of sub-genres, from Shape Shifter to Contemporary to Vampire. What is your favourite to write in and why?

Isy: Wow that is hard. LOL I've enjoyed writing everything I've written but I have to say that I enjoy writing the paranormal stories the most. I love the idea of the impossible happening in our ordinary world - the idea that you could travel back in time to reclaim a lost love, or take a potion and become a supermodel. Creating new worlds is something I look forward to doing but there is so much we can do with THIS one! LOL So many questions we can pose…

Kyla: Tell us who your favourite authors are, do you have any recommendations about books we just have to read?

Isy: Well, there is an author named Kyla Logan who has a fantastic new book called Catari Heat: New Beginnings. It is a super hot read with my favourite type of shape-shifters. Yes, I really recommend that! =)

I have so many authors that I admire that I couldn't possibly name them here but I can tell you what I've read recently and really enjoyed. First, Wolf Mates: An American Werewolf in Hoboken - this is a MUST READ for anyone who loves werewolves and a good laugh. I could NOT put this down! I also really recommend Water Witch by Ciarra Sims. What a unique story! I read that in one sitting too. Both are available from Changeling Press.
