Welcome to the Interviews page, this month I interviewed talented author Selena Illyria.
Kyla: Welcome, Selena. Thank you for agreeing to be interviewed by me. =) Can you tell us about your latest release?
Selena: Thank You so much for interviewing me. =) My latest release is Tartan Twins, the third book in the Tartan Werewolves series. This time the scope is focused on the Montgomery Twins Lochlan and Rorick who are part werewolf, part incubi and their assistant Robin who they are in love with and must convince her to become their mate.
Kyla: Tell us what drew you to write erotic romance. Would you like to try something different with your writing? If you would, what would that be?
Selena: The freedom of it. It seem so unrestrained to me in the romance department. I'm not sure of it being different but I would love to explore other genres.
Kyla: Would you like to tell us what you are working on just now?
Selena: I'm working on a few projects at the moment, the third book for my Blood Claim series with Loose-Id, my next Del Fantasma book, my second Hades Helmet book for Changeling Press and another book that doesn't have a home as of yet. I'm also exploring other ideas for series. Just have to do a bit of research. =)
Kyla: You write for a few publishers, tell us how you decide which story to submit to which one.
Selena: Sometimes I tried to write with the publisher in mind and sometimes I sent something in hoping they would accept it. Or in some cases I was answering a submission call and ended up writing a longer story. =)
Kyla: Tell us who your favourite authors are, do you have any recommendations about books we just have to read?
Selena: Oh boy, there are so many so I'll go with what's on my TBR pile, how's that? I'm currently reading in paperback Chris Marie Green's A Drop of Red from her Vampire Babylon series. Next is Swordsman's Legacy from Alex Archer, after that is FaeFever from Karen Marie Moning and then J.R. Ward's Lover Avenged and Wanted the graphic novel.
In eBook it's Mari Carr's Sugar and Spice, Alice Gaines' Elfin Delights, Lizzie Lynn Lee's Shunga Chronicles: Lady of the Snow and Marteeka Karland's Tyger's Lily. =) I'm sure that pile will continue to grow. =)
Kyla: Please tell us where we can purchase your fabulous books and where we can find out all about your latest news.
