Welcome to the Interviews page. To read interviews I have had recently go to the bottom of the page and click on the link. I will be interviewing an author or editor every month, so look out for announcements of who will be featured here. This month I interviewed talented author Dakota Cassidy.

Kyla: Welcome, Dakota. Thank you for agreeing to be interviewed by me. =) Would you like to tell us what you are working on now?

Dakota: Thank you so much for having me, doll! Right now, I'm working on the sequel to What's New Pussycat? my latest installment in the Wolfmates series, called Moon Over Manhasset. LOL. It's a distant cousin of the Adams family--a she-wolf and she owns a pet boutique. LMAO. Her intended is of an unusual breed...:)

Kyla: Is there anything different that you plan to try next in your writing?

Dakota: I'm always looking for irony. ALWAYS--so if different means vamps allergic to blood and she-wolves, then yeah, I'm going to do something different. LOL Maybe next will be a futuristic.

Kyla: You have written in a number of sub-genres, from Shape Shifter to Contemporary to Vampire. What is your favourite to write in and why?

Dakota: Shoot, I dunno. Truthfully, I love them all while I'm writing them, then I get bored and I move to the next. I have the attention span of a gnat. LOL

Kyla: Tell us who your favourite authors are, do you have any recommendations about books we just have to read?

Dakota: I ADORE Christine Warren and her Fantasy Fix series. Angela Knight and everything she writes. Michelle Hoppe's Club Belle Tori and Isabella Jordan's Eyes of the Leopard. I also love Sandra Hill--she writes the funniest Vikings :)

Kyla: I know that you were at the RT convention with some of your fellow authors. Would you like to give us an insight into what you have been doing?

Dakota: Ya want the truth, or ya want me to lie? Tee hee. We had a total BLAST at RT. We hung out and taunted the lovely cover models. We danced our booty's off and most of all, we hung out with the readers. It was the total BEST :)
